Ellis is a large, independent and dominant female with a lot of calmness in her head. She is very social, everybody can touch her and she lloves being cuddled. She is very talented if it comes to nosework. She loves detection work! Also she is a very good tracker with a natural low nose. She loves bitework in IGP and she an switch very well between obediencce and 'grab that helper'. The obedience part is not her favorite. She learns fast, but doesn't llike it and makes that very clear. Then she shows her strong will, because it takes a lot of effort to convince her to perform the exersize anyway. Harsh treatment only makes her more reluctant. She is not a natural retriever, but she brings everything back, even metal.
Ellis looks athletic, has excellent motoric skills and is a very good jumper. She is physically very strong. That is sometimes difficult, because if she feels like going after something, she does it without any hesitation. Quite an effort to stop her! Another tricky point is that Ellis is quite reactive to everything that moves (cyclists, runners, game).
Charly is a half brother of my Pella, same mother, different father. The father of Charly was a very good, stabile allround workingdog, who passed away too early due to a tragical accident. The offspring of Pella's mother excells in working drive ánd wil;l-to-please. In addition, they are selfconfident, courageous, but not very hard-minded. Charly is no exception. He has abundent workingdrive, which made an Obedience judge make the remark "it is a 1000 Volt dog". He is super ball crazy and also loves to work for food, an ideal combination! Charly is trained in OB2 and Mondioring. He also does canicross and wonn together with his handler the first price in FMBB 2018 canicross
With Charly I hope to bring more will-to-please into my line without losing stability in character. In terms of exteriour, Charly can also improve a lot. Charly has a moderate size, a good coat of the right length and he is well angulated. He is a bit long in the back, like most working line dogs.

With this combination I hope to breed an all-round sport / work Groenendael, solidly built, but not overly large, with a stable and social character and an enormous 'will-to-please'. In terms of exteriour, the offspring will not be suitable for shows, but hopefully will have a little more fur than their mother. Only black puppies are expected.

This is a workingline combination! These dogs have more physical strength than the average Groenendael and need way more than a walk and a weekly training hour. Only if they can put their energy into 'sports / work' they will be pleasant companions. In addition, these dogs are expected to have more the character of a Malinois and the owner should be able to deal with that!

This combination meets all breeding requirements of the Dutch Association of Belgian Shepherd dogs NVBH
